My experience with Perryton schools is that bullying is not addressed as well as it could be. My kids have been bullied for their ethnicity and nothing is done about it. Like most schools some teachers play favorites. I believe the different campuses are generally safe, I’ve never felt my kids were ever in danger while attending school. One problem with Perryton schools, particularly the high school and the community is that football, basketball and baseball are like gods. These sports will receive new equipment while the auditorium is still in desperate need of renovations. The janitorial staff does a fantastic job of keeping the schools clean.

My high school experience was fine. However, I do wish there were more extracurriculars and electives. If there were more extracurriculars and electives, I feel students would become much more involved in school and overall enjoy their high school experience much more. I took advantage of the AP and dual credit courses that were available to students and thought it was great, as classes are typically small and there are many opportunities for students to get one on one help from the teachers. Ultimately, Perryton High School provides students with a calm and friendly environment with certain programs that students can take advantage of.

My experience at PHS has been great. Amazing caring and loving teachers. Overall the best school experience I’ve had. If you have a question or need someone to talk to, there is always someone who will be there to listen. You always feel welcome when you arrive, and you are always greeted with a smile. It is a safe campus, you can walk in and off campus with no worries at all. When there are slight inconveniences the school always does something about it. For instance, every year
we get the same assembly speech about drugs and how they affect us and many others. We also have clubs that organize things like that. For example, FCCLA, NHS, and others. There are multiple classes to choose from depending on what career path you are doing. There’s Health Science, Buisness, Auto Tech, welding, cosmetology, robotics, carpentry, a video/audio productions class, graphic design, agriculture, art, and journalism.I probably missed many others, but thank you for reading my short paragraph your time
